Welcome to the Labo Aoki homepage.

It was our store's demo car, and also my personal car.

Labo‑aoki — Extended Global Profile

For more than three decades, Labo‑aoki has devoted itself to the preservation and refinement of some of the world's most exceptional automobiles. Based in Japan yet connected quietly to enthusiasts across the globe, Labo‑aoki has worked on specialty cars from Europe, America, and beyond—historic classics, rare exotics, limited‑production models, and vehicles whose stories transcend their mechanical form.

This journey began over 30 years ago, long before the modern detailing industry took shape. What guided the work then—and continues to guide it now—is not commercial ambition, but a deep respect for automotive heritage and the belief that every significant automobile deserves to be treated with dignity, precision, and understanding.

Throughout these decades, Labo‑aoki has approached each vehicle not as a project, but as a dialogue. Every surface, every contour, every imperfection carries history. To work on such machines is to listen to them, to understand the materials and the era they were born from, and to preserve their identity without imposing unnecessary alteration.

This philosophy has led Labo‑aoki to handle a remarkable range of specialty automobiles—Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Maserati, Lotus, Aston Martin, and countless others, including rare classics whose names are spoken only among true enthusiasts.

Yet despite this extensive experience, Labo‑aoki has never sought publicity. No galleries are published. No client vehicles are displayed.

This is not secrecy. It is integrity.

Privacy is a form of respect—toward owners, toward the cars themselves, and toward the belief that genuine craftsmanship does not require exhibition. The absence of images is intentional: the work speaks to those who understand, and does not need to be shown to those who do not.

What defines Labo‑aoki is a lifelong pursuit of precision, a commitment to preservation, and an unwavering dedication to the craft of caring for extraordinary automobiles.

Over the years, this quiet approach has earned recognition from enthusiasts around the world—individuals who value authenticity, who appreciate the subtlety of true craftsmanship, and who understand that the most meaningful work often happens far from the spotlight.

Labo‑aoki does not exist to be widely known. It exists to be known by those who recognize the spirit behind the work.

A studio shaped by time. A philosophy shaped by experience. A name carried quietly across borders.

This is Labo‑aoki.

Labo Aoki's Policy

We are a specialty shop focusing on highly desirable European cars, specializing in both new and classic vehicles.

I believe the best condition I seek is the same condition as when the car rolled off the factory line.

* We don't obsess over scratch or stain removal; instead, we perform polishing treatments tailored to the car's condition to achieve the best possible paint finish.

* We consider the car's age and condition, avoiding excessive paint polishing and achieving the best possible finish with minimal polishing.

* We are especially careful with classic cars and supercars.

* While polishing removes scratches and increases shine, it also thins the paint film.

* We perform polishing treatments tailored to the car's condition, the customer's usage, and lifestyle, and recommend the most suitable coating.

Labo Aoki doesn't believe that glass coating is the best coating. For vintage cars, the natural shine of high-quality wax is often more suitable.

However, our glass coating is very effective in protecting the paint surface from oxidation.

Our shop specializes in fully hardening glass coatings, but we will recommend the appropriate coating type based on your vehicle's condition and paint type.

As you can see below, we have owned and driven a wide variety of vehicles.

We are very experienced in handling different types of cars and fully understand the feelings of our customers, so please feel free to entrust your vehicle to us.

Please contact us directly for more details.

The basic principle is to understand the current situation.

For specialty cars and classic cars, the process begins with assessing the vehicle's condition.

1. Paint condition

2. Dirt/Stains

3. Depth of scratches from car washes, etc.

4. Body material

After checking the current condition, we schedule a process and begin with washing.

The surface preparation is done meticulously.

In addition, many Japanese cars

I've driven many domestic cars and many others.

I've thoroughly researched and tested these cars as demo vehicles.

(I've used dozens of research and test vehicles.)

Thanks to this, I truly understand the feelings of our customers, so please rest assured.

I specialize in handling a wide range of vehicles, from new cars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis to classic cars, catering to a wide range of hobbies.

I've also worked on many vehicles displayed at shows.

First-time customers are asked to visit our shop to fully understand the condition of their car and the work involved before making a reservation.

I don't make the absurd claim that glass coating means you don't need to maintain your car for years.

My goal is simply to help you maintain your beloved car.

Keeping your car like new requires more than just love.

Professional support and the associated costs are necessary.

PRICE

We do not have fixed prices for different car models because the polishing process, coating type, and application method vary from car to car.

Even among new cars, German, Italian, French, British, and American cars are all completely different in condition.

We work on each car individually, taking into account factors such as color, year, special paint, and body material.

At our shop, labor costs, necessary parts costs, and coating agent costs are all calculated separately.

We will provide a detailed estimate including all the finer points.

Please understand that this is only an estimate, and there may be increases in labor costs or parts costs.

Conversely, there may also be decreases, so we ask for your understanding.

Our prices may be higher than other shops, but we will provide a detailed explanation so we believe you will understand.

Also, depending on the course (type of coating agent), we can offer quite reasonable prices.

Due to various circumstances, we do not display "estimate calculations" on our website.

Thank you for watching until the end.
